Advancing Basic Education: Access for All Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity Contract (ABE: ACCESS IDIQ)

CID Inc. is part of a diverse consortium comprised of 18 partners that won Access for All Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity Contract (ABE: ACCESS IDIQ). The program is an international funding mechanism that supports U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) missions and bureaus in meeting the goal of providing increased equitable access to education for 15 million learners affected by crisis and conflict.
 
 
The objective of ABE ACCESS IDIQ is to provide technical expertise/implementation support to improve equitable access to basic education, assist USAID to incorporate their objectives for education in security, stabilization, peace building and crisis mitigation programs, support USAID in increasing equitable access/improved quality though assessments, M&E, research & dissemination of data and evidence based best practices, and provide research, evaluation & training to build knowledge, evidence, capacity.
 
 
Services that will be provided under ABE ACCESS includes:
  • Provide TA & services to assist USAID to assess, design, implement, coordinate, monitor and evaluate education programs
  • Manage and provide training servicesto build capacity of USAID and its partners to understand role of education in mitigating crisis, conflict and fragility AND to apply that understanding to effectively design and implement education programs
  • Provide services in research, guidance, assessment, M & E and data collection/analysesto generate results and build knowledged, evidence and capacity
 
Major Results expected from the program includes safe learning opportunities for children and youth provided, strengthen crisis prevention efforts and strengthen institutional capacity to provide services
